Abstract

The research aimed to shed light on the necessary requirements for establishing a stock market in Yemen, as the stock market is necessary to reform the general economic structure, achieve growth rates and create more investment opportunities, The research also reviewed the investment environment in Yemen and identified its most important obstacles in light of the current economic, political and social situation, The research revealed the existence of many obstacles that stand in the way of the investment environment in the Republic of Yemen, which constitute the biggest obstacle to establishing a stock market at the present time, The research reached many results, the most important of which is that the investment environment in Yemen does not match the aspirations of establishing a stock market, which necessitates the need for great effort in various economic, political, social and legal aspects to establish stability in the investment environment, which provides a suitable climate for establishing stock markets.
